JIB-PMES CSCS Registration card and HS&E test price increase
The JIB-PMES will be increasing the price of standard JIB-PMES CSCS registration cards from £40.00 to £45.00 from Monday 06th April 2026. The price of cards for Apprentices and any other ‘red card’ category of cardholder will remain at £20.00; and the additional ‘Fast-Track’ fee will remain at £60.00.
This is the first such increase since 2019 and is a result of on-going price increases across the whole of the card production and distribution process, particularly increases in the price of postage. As a result of this change, the card prices that will apply from Monday 06th April 2026 are as follows:
• All standard ‘Operative’, ‘Supervisor’ or ‘Manager’ card types: £45.00
• Fast-Track card applications for any of the above card types: £105.00
• Standard Apprentice / ‘Red card’ application categories: £20.00
• Fast-Track Apprentice / ‘Red card’ application categories: £80.00
Cards will still be available ‘free of charge’ for paid up members of Unite the Union and for operatives employed by JIB-PMES participating employers, and on whose behalf either JIB-PMES Holiday Credits or JIB-PMES Welfare Benefits are being purchased.
The price of the JIB-PMES Online HS&E test for PMES Operatives will also be increasing by £5.00 to £35.00 from Monday 06th April 2026. Again, the reason for this is to accommodate historic inflationary increases from the supply chain.
The test also remains available ‘free of charge’ for paid up members of Unite the Union and for operatives employed by JIB-PMES participating employers, and on whose behalf either JIB-PMES Holiday Credits or JIB-PMES Welfare Benefits are being purchased.
