The JIB-PMES is pleased to report that the Industrial Parties on the JIB-PMES Board have reached agreement on a new wage deal for 2026 and 2027.
This means that:
- from 05th January 2026, wages and allowances for operatives employed under the National Working Rule Agreement (NWRA) will increase by 3.4%. HMRC has also confirmed that lodging allowance payable to those employed under the JIB-PMES NWRA will increase from £51.59 to £53.40 from 05th January 2026.
- from 04th January 2027, wages and allowances for operatives employed under NWRA will increase by 3.4%.
In addition, rates of sickness benefit payable to those operatives employed under JIB-PMES NWRA will increase as follows:
- All operative grades – 2.7% increase in sickness benefit payable from 05th January 2026
- All operative grades – 5.3% increase in sickness benefit payable from 04th January 2027.
