The JIB-PMES is pleased to announce the introduction of a new category of registration card aimed specifically at those working in the Commercial Catering sector. The foundation for the introduction of this card is a training standard for commercial catering equipment installers which has been developed by the Catering Equipment Distributors Association (CEDA).
CEDA has also aligned a number of training modules to this standard to ensure that those working in the sector are able to demonstrate that they meet the necessary requirements. Those who pass all of the necessary training modules will be issued with a numbered certificate of completion by CEDA which can then be used in support of JIB-PMES CSCS Commercial Catering Engineer card applications.
Access to the training standard and the training modules is open to all working in the commercial catering sector, not just those employed by CEDA members. A list of training modules and an application form can be obtained directly from CEDA (peterkay@ceda.co.uk).
