PMES Site Visitor yellow card
JIB-PMES CSCS SITE VISITOR YELLOW CARD (TO BE PHASED OUT)
IMPORTANT NOTE: JIB-PMES SITE VISITOR CARD PHASE OUT
To ensure consistency is maintained with CLC/CSCS scheme rules, the JIB-PMES CSCS Registration card scheme will be phasing out the yellow, Site Visitor card.
From 01st July 2021, all Site Visitor cards issued will have a maximum expiry date of 31st December 2024. This will apply to renewals and new applications.
No new Site Visitor card applications or Site Visitor card renewals will be accepted after 30th June 2024.
Site Visitor card update– June 2024
From the end of June 2024, the JIB-PMES will no longer be issuing the Site Visitor yellow card. All cards that are still in circulation will remain valid until their expiry date (i.e. 31/12/2024), but no new cards will be issued after this time.
The decision to cease issuing the Site Visitor card brings the JIB-PMES CSCS registration scheme into harmony with the main CSCS scheme – which stopped issuing the ‘Construction Site Visitor’ card back in 2020. The main premise for this move is explained in detail in the following article:

Any holders of the JIB-PME CSCS Site Visitor card who feel they will legitimately still need to hold a card in order to access worksites should follow the following process:
- Please contact the JIB-PMES Procard Team via the following email: Procard@jib-pmes.org.uk
When making contact with the Procard Team, please send in copies of any qualification certificates or certificates of training as this will help to determine eligibility for an alternative type of JIB-PMES CSCS registration card.
- We also recommend visiting the following pages from the core CSCS scheme:
Either of the above card types could be suitable for those with either academic qualifications or those who hold current membership of a recognised, construction linked professional institution.
